Studio Gallery has one of Australia’s largest commercially available collections of contemporary art held across five gallery locations in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. Representing the work of over 110 Australian, Aboriginal and International artists. Working with a dynamic and relevant collective of artists from emerging through to advanced career stages, our galleries are built on solid egalitarian, ethical principles with dynamic solo and group exhibitions, engaging artist talks, installations and events. We understand the role a gallery plays, providing a place to connect with something precious, the theatre of the soul - Art. Our role is to provide a relevant national and global platform for our talented artist stable via stunning physical and digital gallery spaces whilst holding to our social and environmental policies.
Studio Gallery defines an art space to be inclusive, aspirational, hungry for the unfamiliar, embracing of change, ever progressive. We live through art and experience, our name looks to quite simply pay homage to nothing other than the very place art originates from – Studio.

Studio Gallery offers four locations across Australia. A gallery in the heart of Armadale VIC, a large converted warehouse in Cheltenham VIC, an expansive double floor gallery in Waterloo NSW, and our newly unveiled gallery in Brisbane within the hum of the James Street precinct.

Meet the Team
Kerry Armstrong | Artist & Founder
Kerry Armstrong is a Melbourne-based artist working within Abstract Expressionism. Kerry has established herself as one of Australia's most exciting, raw new artists. Her intuitive, experimental works have a strong autobiographical narrative as she works to capture moments of emotional honesty.
As Kerry's career here and abroad has progressed, so has her passion for exhibiting and promoting artists. In 2016 she and husband Michael launched Studio Gallery as a dynamic, contemporary platform for emerging and established artists.
Michael Armstrong | CFO & Director
Michael Armstrong comes from a financial background having worked many years as Group Financial Officer for an Australian based international copper wire manufacturer.
As an active director of the business, Michael not only acts as our CFO but is very focused with regards to customer service and the maintenance of our galleries.
Lauren Elyse | Strategic Sales Director & Curator
As an artist from a young age, Lauren has been surrounded by creativity most of her life and has developed a keen curatorial eye alongside extensive management experience. Working for years in the natural health sector, Lauren has brought her passion for customer experience in client engagement to the role as Sales Director at Studio Gallery.

Jade Stewart | Sales and Marketing Director, Solo Exhibitions
Jade joined Studio Gallery in 2020 coinciding with the launch of the Waterloo space. Jade has a background in Artist Brand Management, Project Management, and over a decade’s expertise working for one of Australia’s leading fashion design house’s as National Sales and Marketing Manager.
With an affinity for aesthetics, a strong eye for detail and a passion for contemporary art, Jade has an innate ability to intuitively understand a space and the communicative language within an art piece.

Anna Kerr | Art Consultant Melbourne
Anna joined Studio Gallery in 2019, bringing with her many years of experience representing Artists within her own agency. Her passion, intuition and drive for the arts is palpable along with her commitment to the highest level of client engagement and satisfaction. Anna lives with her young family in Melbourne and works in our High Street Armadale Gallery.

Tanis Taylor | Gallery Manager Brisbane
Tanis specialises in both contemporary and Indigenous art, and has an innate ability to marry the interests of her clients with the artwork they desire. As a lover of all things aesthetic and innovative, alongside her Business Management and Fine Art degrees, Tanis brings a unique skillset to her role of Art Consultant. Prior to working in the art industry, Tanis spent several years in business management for Australia's leading beauty retailer which enabled her to develop practical expertise in the field of colour theory, complementary tones and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Sarah Meehan | Art Consultant Brisbane
Sarah joined Studio Gallery in 2023 as an Art Consultant with a passion for art and design, specialising in the relationship between the two. With a background working in the Brisbane commercial art scene along with furniture and homewares retail, Sarah has a strong understanding of how art can elevate and bring a space together. It is her belief that art is what transforms a house into a home. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries with areas of study including Art History, Interior Design & Architecture.

Gabrielle Bergman | Art Consultant Brisbane
Gabrielle joins the Brisbane gallery as an Art Consultant after previously working in both the Cheltenham and Armadale gallery. She holds a Bachelor of Art (Art History) from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Interior Design from RMIT. Gabrielle has an interest in contemporary art and is eager to support collectors with their artwork acquisitions.

Claudia De Luca | Art Consultant Brisbane
Claudia holds her Certificate IV in Visual Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) and is currently completing her Master of Visual Arts at the Queensland College of Arts. Claudia joined Studio Gallery in 2023 after previously working in various galleries across Australia as an Assistant Curator, Gallery Assistant and Art Consultant. Claudia has a passion for contemporary art, photography, curating and believes that art should be accessible to everyone
