Fabrice’s paintings embody the appearances that reach us daily, whether from our surroundings or the mass media. He explores and then reduces each representation to finally reveal only its essential feeling on the canvas.
With a dedication and focus to the art he creates, transmits and shares with others, his characters personify the snapshots of our lives both in action and nonchalance. “Always to the rhythm of music in my studio, my creative desire and inspiration is fuelled by the lived experience of travel around the world and the richness cultures I’ve encountered in these travels. Beyond appropriation, I question our exposure to the constant flow of visual stimuli, as well as the way we perceive the world in which we exist”
